Putin cancels deadline for selling Shell's stake in Sakhalin-2

MOSCOW, Dec 30 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree removing the deadline for the government to sell Shell's stake in the Sakhalin-2 liquefied natural gas project, according to amendments made to the document and published on Friday.

Earlier, the decree specified that the government must estimate and sell the stake within four months following the decision not to transfer it.
